Can you hear us rejoicing??
We just found out that we got our LOA today!
It will be overnighted to us on Monday.
7/7/07.. what a cool day to get an LOA. =)
What is an LOA? It stands for Letter of Acceptance and is a new step added by China in the last few months. It's just a piece of paper that China sends us and all we have to do is checkmark the statement "Yes, we accept this child," sign it, date it and send it back to China. Once China receives it, they will issue us a Travel Approval, usually 3-5 weeks later. So.. basically this means that we've just checked off another check on our list and we're still waiting!
But at least we know that we're entered into the home stretch of our wait and the "goal" (Asher!) is right around the corner!
Now we're going to be applying for our visa's and it looks like we will be traveling in 4-6 weeks!!!!!!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS! I am Sophie and Maddie's grandma and I know Sophie will be very excited to see Asher again! When she first came home we would show her Asher's videos and she would get so excited.
