Hard to believe that we will be heading to China in 11 days!! (And I leave for Haiti in two days!!) To say it's crazy around here, would be an understatement. Maybe that's just because I'm going crazy with all I have to do!! Packing for Haiti, China, myself, the boys.. it's stressful! On top of that we've had company over the weekend and more company arrived today!! (But we're enjoying having Aunt Irma, Laura & Amy here!)
Anyways, we have travel plans! We are definitely leaving for China on Sunday, August 12th! We'll leave home around 7:00 am and arrive (about) 37 hours later in Shenyang, China. The next day (the 14th) we will meet Asher.. otherwise known as "Gotcha Day." We will stay in Shenyang for the rest of the week sightseeing, finishing adoption paperwork and waiting on his passport and then fly south to the city of Guangzhou on the 20th. Our appointment with the American Embassy is on the 22nd, we will receive his visa the next day and fly home on the 24th! WHEW!
I come home from Haiti on Saturday evening (the 11th) around 8 pm. And we'll be leaving for the airport around 5 the next morning. But who cares about sleep? That's what the plane ride is for!!

Wow!!! It won't be long now! Praying for you as you leave for Haiti tomorrow and then China in just 10 days! Asher is blessed to have you as his Jie Jie!
