Thanks for all the responses for Asher's care package! Here's what we we're including:
-stuffed dog
-magna doodle

-Disney t-shirt
-photo album
-Coloring book & crayons
-stickers
-play doh
-Hot Wheels Cars
So.. hopefully he likes it all! We're just finsihing up the photo album and then it will be all ready to go! He'll have it in about a month or so.
Someone mentioned taking our video camera and taping our family and house and then sending it on a DVD to him. This is a great idea, but because we're not sure if the orphanage even has a DVD player, we're just going to wait. (His orphanage is pretty remote looking!!) But before we travel, we'll have one of our Chinese friends come over and have them walk through our house and introduce everyone and everything to him. Then we'll just bring it with us to China and let him watch it so he'll know who everyone is and where his room is before he comes home.
And for some paperwork news, we have all of our documents!! Hooray!! We're just waiting for our I-171h (approval from INS) and then we'll be set to go! Our INS office is usually pretty fast, so we're hoping to have that very soon. Finally, everything seems to be falling in to place and we'll at least be DTC before May!

Yeah! How fun to send a care package. I'm glad you ave all your docs except the I171-H. Hopefully that really does come soon.
